Ft Rucker

 Independence Day; a day of celebration, a time of reflection, a holiday the United States can call their own. Most Americans come together to be united and show their spirit and the soldiers, their families and the surrounding community of Ft. Rucker are no different. Freedom Fest was a grand event with food from many vendors, music by the 98th Army Band, arts and crafts, static air craft displays, a children's fun zone and the area's largest fireworks display that lasted over 30 minutes. Ft. Rucker's MCCW has recently reorganized and has been busy getting involved in the community. There was a table in the vendors area right next to the chapel table where the ladies welcomed people, introduced who we are, gave many "Freebies" away and sold hand made coasters to generate funds for the groups activities. The entire event was a success and much fun was had by all.
